hi just found this forum after 3 months running back forth to docs, well here goes. Just after xmas i developed severe pains lower back put it down to sprain stetched and pushed myself to be mobile , pain left back ended in right upper arm in muscle became very tight and caused buring pain in shoulderand collar bone socket and neck, seen doc diagniosed trapped nerve and give muscle relaxant. got bit of relief pain into muscle spasm and caused tightness across both eyes strange but true )! ended in outpatients seen another doc he said he i needed to be referred to a nuero sureogen and an mri. Had to go back to gp he said me ok more muscle relaxants, pain continued and musle spasms in neck, shoulder, more aggressive ended in hosptial.. ct scan normal. blood tests normal. heart test normal .. Hosptial dischared me said had anxiety muscle nerve tension on ammitiptyline 10mg for 3 days pan gone stiffness a little in morning... could this be possible and where did the pain especially nerve pain come from and spread too?? also hae tightness inupper scalp no pain but a little unnoticable twitch in eye , only me can notice it very annoying. I am calm now cos of the medication but would really appreciate some opinions on trapped nerve an anxiety. I am waiting on an mri test in a few weeks. all opinions welcome and appreciated ..
