Thanks again to pat, ttpete, & brettc, although I think it was pat who said for my stuck screw to hammer in a torx bit and it would remove it...bugger wouldn't budge for a while but I got it and now no heli-coil needed.
Also, I took off my levers and moved the adjustment screw in 1/3 of a turn so that the clutch actuation point is where I liked it and now everything is fat dumb and happy. Thanks all.
My buddy can't find neutral and I said, "let's bleed the MC and that will cure your problems for sure." Seems to be a common problem after a fluid flush and 1000mi or so.
