sticking a needle into a pimple?

I was told a dermatologist can stick a needle imto a pimple and shoot some stuff into it and the pimple will be gone in 2 days has anyone ever done this?and whats the stuff called they use in the needle?i have a few pimples that wont go away and im using retin a and taking mino and they still keep coming back and there big.

I think that you might be talking about a cortisone injection made directly into the pimple. I have never had one, some people on this board have though. I beleive it is just for really large cycts though.

Yes it is mainly for cysts. I had one and they did this and it went down in 2 days when it would have taken like 5 usually. I would definantly recommend it.
