Stick and StaffMartial Arts?

I would just like to know all the things you can do with a staff in martial arts as well as looking cool thats all, i know there is the maji but i am sure there are others. If any of you have seen or played star fox, you will know what i mean by staff martial arts...or the puprle guy from teenage mutant ninja turtles

U have to learn a MA before learn its weapon form. Weapon forms are derived from MA basic forms. Its a step by step process. Its like trying to play bastetball before learning to walk.

i can use one or two escrima sticks. other than the speed and proficiencies at which you can use them. there not a whole lot of trick its not a game or a cartoon.

i use a staff in lau gar kung fu, but i promise you, it isnt as flash as it looks on tv
