Stepping into the world of PPC/PDA .. Recommendations?

Hey guyz... I'm starting to use my calendar more and more and my 6620 just aint cutting it nemore. I originally thought about just getting a PDA but it would be too cumbersome to lug around a cell and a PDA everyday so I'm strongly considering a PDA phone.

I'm currently using Fido in Vancouver and after some quick research, deciding between a Cingular 8125 (I like the rectangular form factor more), the Qtek S200 and the Motorola A1200 but sorta leaning towards the 8125 more...

For those that have either/both of them, I have a few questions?

How does the 8125 differ from other Wizard variants?
Is the S200 wireless b only or b/g (GSMarena states b)?
How does the new OMAP850 (195MHz Dual Core) compare with the old Bulverde (416MHZ) or the XScale (312MHz)?
Do you think the keyboard is worth the size difference?
Which has the better reception?
Is the reception and incoming SQ (of the Wizard) as bad as Howard states?
What other phones would you recommend?

For your reference, below are my preferences.

BUDGET: $500 USD shipped (ebay pricing OK)

Requirements:
First and foremost, MAD SEEG!
GSM 850
Bluetooth
Touchscreen
< 1" Thick

Good to Have:
Wifi
Keyboard
Expansion Slot
Quad band
3G

Your opinions and comments are greatly appreciated. Thx.

i stepped into the worl of ppc/pda, i dont think its worth it. ill let you know tommorow. as im getting my first non pda phone in a while. i didnt use it for anything aside for the occassional web browsing. all normal phones can do almost what smartphones can do. i think im gonna get the lgcu500, and then get the moto q... just because 3g is so important to me. ive seen what wifi could do so i want 3g. but i like my 8125, just its too big and i dont even use half the features

Even though I would prefer a smaller phone (that's why I'm considering the S200), I will probably be using the phone primarily for Calls, Calendar and SMS so the keyboard would most likely come in handy.
I currently own a 6620 so the size should be ok for me...
[8125 = 108 x 58 x 23.7mm vs 6620 = 109 x 58 x 24]

All this talk about 3G is making me sway but with data costs (and the price of a ppc phone w/ 3G), I don't think I'll be using it anytime soon.

Moto Q is also tempting... but I sorta want touch screen.. grr.. choices.. choices...

I'll be waiting for your next post..

One thing to consider...I just went from a T-Mobile MDA to my N70...I text a bunch and I miss the keyboard but sliding the keyboard open and closing it after every message was a real PITA. Still waiting on a good replacement that may come my way but I enjoyed the MDA when I had it. Didn't really use the features that much other than phone calls and texting. The MDA is about the same size in height as my N70 but WAY thicker and made it feel much bigger in your hands...not sure about the 8125 but I know they are close.

Lol... Surprisingly, I'm getting more feedback on another non-phone oriented forum...

Just another quick question... For those that own a PPC/PDA phone w/ both touchscreen and keyboard, which do you tend to use more?

I used the keyboard more than I used the touchscreen. I rarely got out the stylus once you get a few programs that will allow you to use the hard buttons for some things like bringing up the start menu
