I just watched this movie, and I seriously LOVE it.

At first, I was hesitant to watch it, because I thought it would be too cliche, but my Channing obsession made me go.

And I'm glad I did, because this movie is amazing. The dancing, the music, and the chemistry between Channing/Jenna (I believe that's the actress' name) was amazing.

I almost cried when Skinny got shot. He was such a loveable character, and so goofy.

I really want to go see this movie again. Also, can someone make me some avies? :)

i love the movies where they mix break dancing with like jazz and whatnot..like take the lead and etc, and channing was Awesome! but who wudnt expect that :P
 
Did yall see how you could have entered to be in Ciara's music video for the movie!? That is so cool -- not that I am good at dancing at all but what a great opportunity for those who are. You can still watch the contestants dance moves -- I am really impressed with the talent. Good stuff...
 
I really love this movie. I'm convincing everyone I know to go and see it. :) And then I usually tag along.
 
I teared up alot, especially at the part with them both crying by his body, so sad. :(
 
I think they started dating during the movie.

Ive been counting down to this day for a long time. Im obsessed with Step Up, so much that I saw it 9 times in theaters(I get to see free movies so it isnt as crazy as it sounds). So of course I went and bought it first thing this morning and spent all day watching it and the special features. best movie ever!
 
i just saw it! channing was... :sigh: lets just say it was my favorite channing movie! he's an incredible dancer, and so is jenna! i really liked it!
 
The movie was by no means original. :lol:

The blending of different genres reminded me of Save the Last Dance.

The whole Skinny thing was a complete rip off of the movie Honey.

But, the movie was fun and the music and dancing were hot!!
