Stebel Air Horn

I looked around a little and found most pplaces to be within a couple of buck of each other $45-50 bucks with shipping. There are some other threads and where to install the horn. Just look up Stebel in the search engine. I'm too tired this morning to do it.

Biker Hiway has them for $36 + shipping. Sign up for their news letter and/or search the web, and you can get coupon codes for free shipping.

I also bought the Kisan brake light flasher link 2 pack. My bike has single brake light, but I installed the other one in the wife's bike after Kisan emailed me back and said they would work as a single unit just fine. :)

Last night, I finally figured out where/how I can mount mine to the bikes. :)

Looking forward to getting some time to wire/mount it up now. Maybe this weekend.

So are you going to share this info or are we just going to have to wait for pictures?

I'm willing to change my mounting location - I've actually leaned so much in a corner that I scraped the horn in it's current mounting position! It severed one of the wires.

They are loud, attention getting and several of my riding buddies have them and love em. Stebel has some neat videos of the product in use and they're a real hoot to watch . . . check their web-site.
Wildwolf, I bought the Kisan SM-35V, my bike didn't have self cancelling turn signals so this product will eliminate one bad habit I developed of forgetting to turn the signals off after completing the turn. I had previously installed the Radiantz Dogeyes from Custom Dynamics (dual color led cluster with smoke lenses) on rear turn signals which gave me running lites, brake and turn signals, so combining that mod with the Kisan I will have 4-way flash capabilities and pulsating brake lites on the rear. I like the added visibility all these mods gave me.

Hanging from the top part of my MC Enterprise bars using a chromed c-clamp. Took a look at a c-clamp that came with my tach (they sent 2) for mounting it (tach) to 1.25" handlebars and remembered the MC bars I have are 1.25" bars. I need to stop by a hardware store and get a longer bolt or two. The clamps I'm using aren't good to keep footpegs in place, but hey they should be perfect for just holding a horn where I need it. Then I can just wiretie the wires up and under/maybe behind the radiator or at least along side it. Not sure yet, though, on that. It will definitely take some more thought. Am just happy to have found a possible location. :D

yeah it's pretty sparse on the S50 for mounting locations, without custom fabricating a bracket.
My wife's Vulcan 500 was an easy install - the old horn came off and the Stebel just bolted right up in it's place.

Using the flat chromed "U" shaped mount that came with my drag specialties tach for 1.25" bars, and mounting it above the footpeg bracket on my MC Enterprise crash bars....I think I can get it done. It'll look like crap and I'll still have to figure out how to run the wires easily so it doesn't look like even more crap, but hey...what do y'all think?

By the way, a common practice now seems to be to rejet the bike, remove the front airbox, and stuff it up in that space. :) If I had time/funds before my trips coming up in May, I might go with that route.

I ordered one from Californis Sport and got it in less than a week. There are no instructions on how to mount it with the horn but it looks like there are enough threads here to figure it out.

The one I linked to at bikerhiway also includes an in-line fuse, and all the wiring necessary to wire it up (with connectors and all). Better deal, IMHO, if you don't happen to have all stuff handy. :)
