Steam - Pre-ordering free game problem.?

I've just pre-ordered 'Dawn of War II' and it says that you get Saints Row 2 for free, once I pre-ordered it came up with a pop-up asking if I would like to gift this product to a friend. I closed this as I didn't want to send it to a friend, I wanted to start installing & downloading so I looked under my games tab and found to my surprise it wasn't found there. So I'm not sure if there is a place to active it, I do not have the product code as it wouldn't let me press back so I could copy it. But on my history list it does say I have pre-ordered this game. I'm sure there is a place that I have to activate this, but if not; please help me.
