Steady Red Light

Ok guys, here is another question for my Verizon xv6700. The phone was on when I bought it (with a low battery) and charged fine. I updated the PRL (via Mini SD) and changed the MSID to my nuraber. Then I took it the Cricket store where they updated my ESN and attempted to call *228. The phone went dead.

Every since (bought it yesterday morning), the phone keeps a steady red light (will not charge, will not come on). I've tried 2 batteries and let it sit all night. Still will not come on. Any guesses??

Nevermind guys - I've discovered the problem. The battery connects on the back of the unit were uneven - it was not making a complete connection with the battery. Works great now!

glad you got it working....my phone did the same thing....i bent the prongs when i put the battery in....fixed them.....and it work great
