I know the statute of limitations in my state for collecting debt is 5 to 10 years depending on the type of debt, however I am having trouble placing hospital bills in a catagory would that be an open ended account, I dont think it is an oral contract, written contract, or prommissory note. So I am guessing I should place it in the open ended account catagory which has a five year statute of limitations.
