Statistics: How do i find E() < probability of an event> ? <lost my textbook>?

I have an exam tomorrow and a very poor understanding of the material, since i lost my text book i need to find answers online and cannot find any explanation of this.....

Question: A random variable X has pdf f(x)=c(1-x)x^2 if 0<x<1, and zero otherwise.

cdf= 6 ( ( (1-x^2) x) ^2 )

part c.
find probability x if .3<x<.4
-cdf w/new bounds

part d.
find E(-2x+1)
