If laden jars work, even with the static coming off your television, then why haven't we tried lining lightning rods with them?
Essentially, only the static coming from the lightning, through the rod, into the ground would be caught.
The biggest problem about lightning is how powerful it is.. it would be like.. capturing a nuke.. ;P
But, anyway.. post any ideas.. questions.. other energy ideas.. anything..
