walking on a dream

My car's battery died the beginning of this week and I had it replaced on Tuesday. It was fine driving back from the mechanic but yesterday (Wednesday) I went to shovel my car out and start it, and the engine sounded like it was going to give out. I let it run for about 10 minutes and went for a little drive just to make sure, but I'm worried about it. The temperature tonight is supposed to be -10 with even colder wind chills and I'm just so worried that my car won't start.
Is this normal? I'm a college student so I don't use my car all that often (before this little fiasco happened on Monday the 31st, the last time I drove my car was the 25th). Will my car be alright if I just make sure to let it run before I actually drive?
