I have a 1975 75 horse chrysler outboard. it has been running really well but now all of a sudden it wont start all the time. sometimes it will crank and theres no problem at all, and other times ill turn the key and there is nothing, but if i play with it a little while or wait a while it will turn over without a problem. yesterday it left me strranded at the lake becuase absolutely nothing would happen when i turned the key, but today i tried it and it kicked over with no problem. what could the problem be,l i think it might be the solenoid which is a cheap and easy thing to replace but how am i sure that thats the problem? thanks for any help!
