As an artist (painter really) I have accidentally stumbled upon a knack for digital photography and editing. With this new found skill and a little education I believe I am going to being a small business venture in portraits, "Boudoir" photos and digital caricatures. I am going to need a new PC and camera and was curious as to what route I should go. I will need a pc that can handle multiple large programs and that has much memory and won't slow down with lots of programs running as well as at least 10 mp DSLR camera. Any suggestions??

well i would actually recommend getting a iMac or a Macbook Pro
getting aperture, and Light room, and photoshop if you wish

i have it but i rarely use it...

I use a Canon Xti as a backup but its a fairly nice camera, my main is a 50d.. planning on selling that soon and buying a 7d

PC's cant handle as much processing as a Mac when it comes to digital art work....
