I just started a membership at a local, smaller gym. It has all the necessities, a few bikes, a few treadmills, a few ellipticals, and machines. I'm 5' 5'', 160 and am looking to lose about 20-25 lbs and gain 5-10 in muscle/toning. I wish to tone my butt, thighs/legs, arms, and middle area. Yet, I have no idea what I should start on at the gym or what to do. I usually walk/jog for about 30-45mins and do the elliptical for 15. Can somebody give me some good, helpful advice? I'm looking to workout 4/7 days a week, if not more.. Also, is there anything I can cut from my diet that would help me lose weight too? Thank you!
