Starting my own investment business in OC California! Would anyone like to join

or have any ideas? I am sick of working for a loser investment management company where the "advisors" can't prospect for new clients, won't make any outgoing calls to drum up business, etc. Basically it's DEAD and BORING...I was hired as an administrator/assistant, but was promised an advisor job after 6 months...Well two years later that still hasn't happened...Basically because I cover for the two advisors I work for who are constantly out of the office for personal stuff...I have been an investment advisor in the past and did really well, I love helping people and the challenge of bringing in new business excites me...I have all of my licenses, etc.

I am looking for some reassurance that this is right and if anyone has any ideas of how they might build a similiar company I would love to hear them...
