Quick question.
Do you think that other college students will be willing to join me in the process of creating a new social network from scratch IF I guarantee them equity (by signing contracts) in our soon to be company?
Basically I'm looking for programmers/coders because I don't know how to program in detail, however I HAVE ALREADY designed the entire look and features along with instructions for them to read to know exactly how I want the network to be programmed.
I would be CEO of our company, but I need a team of programmers. Do you think that they would think it is unfair for me to be CEO since I won't be the one programming?? I WILL provide any funds they need for software, etc however.
If I'm wrong, please be honest and tell me because I have the concept of: "The president of Disney World didn't actually BUILD the rides himself, HOWEVER, he had the knowledge of building a team of excellent workers that made his vision come to life."
Might I add, we will ALL be working for free until it launches and spreads regionally, then ultimately global. It's just that I'll be the one that founded the company, funding it, and advertising it to make people aware. The other team members will be the programmers that receive feedback and ideas from me to be incorporated into the site.
Also, I've been working on this project ALONE for 9 months now. I'm now ready to form a team. Any advice?
