I have a product prototype. I am refining it and will sell to garden stores and nurseries. I'm not reinventing the wheel. I am just making it using recycled products....doing it much cheaper. Would the stores buy them from me and take the risk of retailing them or will they sell them on consignment? Do I need to file a patent on this product? Do I need to affix labeling with a logo? What do I need to be "legal" and "professional?" Can I do all this without an attorney? The stores that will be selling this are small nurseries and garden centers/farms.
