I have decided like (many?) others that I would like to start a business selling lolita. I realize that I would most likely have to start by selling online (I want to sell my own clothes), but in the end I would like to have physical stores all over the US.
Of course I have a fountain of ideas and willing business partners, but I'm a little unsure how to start the process of getting a physical store. Where might I find info on where the most lolitas live or congregate in the US? I'm in college right now, so what courses could I take to better help me deal with and understand the demands of owning such a business? Degrees? Where do beginning stores get their materials like fabric, packaging, etc?
Please, no loli-bashing or telling me it's too big a task to complete. This is the land of the almost free, after all. Genuine advice on the topics above, please.
