First of all, I am taking Yaz birth control, not for preventing pregnancy (Last thing I need to worry about. XD), but to regulate my periods, make them less painful, and to have them only four times a year. What my gynecologist is having me do is take all the pink pills for the month, skip the white ones, then start the new pack. Then I'm supposed to take the white pills on my fourth pack and have my period. Well, the first pack and beginning of the second pack, I had no period, which was great. Then last Friday, I ended my second pack and I was to start my third pack Saturday night. But, on Saturday evening, before I started my third pack, I started spotting. I was told that was normal, but I thought it was kind of weird that it happened this month and not last month. When it first started, it was just brown, which I believe means it's old. Today, five days later, I'm STILL bleeding and now it's bright red, fresh, and heavier. It's basically a medium period. Last Friday, before I started this irregular bleeding, I went to the gynecologist for a check-up and I told her that everything was going great. So, of course, I start this THE DAY AFTER my appointment... Anyways, I'm wondering what I should do. I've seen on forums and such that some people have bled for a month straight because of this and I obviously don't want that, when that's the opposite thing I wanted! Does anybody have any hints or anything to make this stop? Thank you in advance!
Oh, and this is my first time with any birth control.
