Stage custom yamaha drum set?

I'm lookin to buy a drumset soon and I have never played one so I am researchin on what drumset would be good for me. Im considering this 5 piece yamaha set that is stage custom. So I wanted to know what is a stage custom? What do they do?
 
i've never played these but i have friends that have. there a nice pair of drums that are made for live performance so they'll take be hauled around better than other sets may. everyone i know that has used them liked them but i would suggest you go to a local music store and play them b4 u buy them. they run for around $1000 i believe
