I'm curious if anybody was treated with an SSRI long term, then stopped taking it (under Dr. supervision), and then decided to start taking it again?
If so, did you take the same SSRI you did the first time around and is it working how it did before?
I took Paxil for nearly 6 yrs. and haven't been on it now for 9 months but am considering taking it again. I've done everything I can but the anxiety returned and still remains daily. I really don't want to go back on medicine but I also don't want to live with all of this anxiety the rest of my life. I took it for GAD and SAD.
