I have herniated discs and spinal stenosys. I applied for SSDI and was approved. I have been on disability for
the past three years. Now I think my review will be commong up
anytime from now. However, I stopped going for physical therapy
since two years ago because the physical therapy wasn't helping at
all. After one year of physical therapy without any improvement I stopped.
Now, I am only taking my pain management medications (Vicodin, Flexiril,
Lidoderm patches, etc). I am also taking other medications for depression
and I also have a TENS unit that I use to stimulate by back
I have lower back pain that will never go away. Now, my question is this,

When my review comes up, will they deny me because I stopped the
physical therapy?

I have two doctors that I see regularly. A Psychologist(for my depression) and a Physiatrist (for my pain management) and both of them support my case.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my question.

i would not think they would stop your disability because you do not go to therapy. as long as you are still seeing your doctors, they say your diagnoses are not improved & will not improve, and you are taking your medications, everything should be fine..
