I am just looking for some opinions from the riders of these Ducatis. I am getting a 2002 SS750 for my first Ducati. I have ridden a lot of other crusiers etc. but never a sport bike. I rode this SS750 and fell in love. it is near perfect (former Ducati mechanic bike) and has 2000 miles.

are these good bikes, for carving the canyons, and just getting used to the world of Ducati?

The 750 SS is a great first Ducati! This model line dates back to the mid '70ties, and is an important bike in Ducati history. They look great, handle well, are, (relatively), simple in design, and easier to work on than 4 valve Ducati Superbikes.

What color, yellow or red?
