sprinting/abs question?

So i currently do 15 minute ab workouts ever other day, i have been doing it for about 2 months now, would it be okay for me to start doing it every day now? i also need to burn some fat and i would like to do sprints, how long should i be out sprinting in one session? i weigh 170 pounds and have a current mile time of 8:49.
im trying to shed the layer of fat over my abs.
