Hey I just turned 14 and I'm a guy and my running times are ok but not thaaat good and I want to improve them.
100m-In the 100m my best is 11.7(unnoficially because a friend timed it) and 12.6(officially. was timed by PE teacher though it was handtimed so maybe a little slower) Usually at the start I get out quicker than everyone and I stay ahead for about the first 50m because I'm smaller than the other guys my age(im 164cm..but i should grow to about 180cm because my dad is 6 foot) but after that 50m depending on how fast they are they sometimes get in front. How can I improve my final 50m? I want to improve it to about low 12's consistently in this season.
200m-My best for this is 28 flat but that was a while ago when I was 12/13. I have the fitness and I don't get tired at the end, however my arms get pretty sore but i push through. How can I improve my times in this(I probably run about 26.5-27 now but I would like to get under 26 in this season)
400m-I havent done this in a long time I was maybe 12 last time i did it and I ran 68sec. I'm a LOT fitter now(1500m-4.45 which is more than a minute better than it used to be) and I want to run it in under a minute consistently.
*these are all on grass if that makes a difference and handtimed since I havent been to states with the electronic timers and synthetic track since I was 11
Also, I really want to improve this so I will put in the time etc. so I'll do pretty much any training(except weights because that stunts your growth when your young apparently)
