Sprint Unlimited

;^) I like the teeny tiny print right below the price. The part that reaRAB "other monthly charges apply**."

:^/ Then way down at the bottom it reaRAB:

"**Monthly charges exclude taxes, Sprint Surcharges (incl. USF charge of up to 10.2% [varies quarterly], Administrative Charge [$0.75/line/mo.], Regulatory Charge [$0.20/line/mo.] and state/local fees by area). Sprint Surcharges are not taxes or government-required charges and are subject to change...."

:^/ They go on to mention that there is an early termination fee. So, you may end up paying about a hundred smacker a month up front, only to have Sprint up the ante six months later. If you want to bail out, they hit you with the early termination fee. I don't like any contract that allows the other party to change the rules after you've agreed to them, and penalizes you (but not them) if you wish to cancel the agreement.

Actually if they change the contract, they have to give you an opportunity to cancel the contract if you don't agree to the new terms without an ETF. Verizon upped the sms message cost from .05 to .10 per message and that was all it took for lots of cancellations without ETFs. Wireless providers have to be careful about this. I used to have Cricket and I love my Sprint phone. Add in that about all of my peak time calls add up to about 250 minutes a month I'm very happy I changed. I'm not advocating them, but it is a really nice hanRABet.

I just went into a sprint store and was told the following:

A. At the store, they can't activate MY mogul without a 2 year contract. Customer service might be able to waive that, but they weren't sure.... That's pretty crappy since I own the phone, hence, no phone subsidy.

B. My total bill was something like $114.62. The only addition was $7/mo for insurance... Taxes were only like $8/mo.

C. Unlimited really is unlimited.. There are no caps on anything, and the only upgrades to the plan are insurance and "phone as modem", which anyone who has a mogul doesn't need.

D. Sprint doesn't charge for ESN changes... If I were to switch, I'd probably end up getting a RAZR or KRZR, so I could use my mogul most of the time, and switch to the smaller phone when I'm going camping, to the lake, or anything else I don't want to take my nice PDA to do.

E. Their literature in the store said the offer was only good until 5/31/08, so if you're interested in switching, you've only got a couple months to do it.

All in all, I'm still not going to switch, but I was pretty tempted. If they had told me that I didn't have to sign a contract, I might have become a sprint customer today..... and if Verizon or AT&T change their plans to match this, I WILL be leaving cricket.

It depenRAB . For me the the big plus would be no frees roaming . I just can't stand wireless contracts ( ETFs, billing problems etc) . No contract providers like Criciket Metropcs , and Boost Unlimited have to earn your business every month .

Saw this at phonescoop, might take care of that issue, but probably not soon enough.

Also this tempts me a little. But evne if i get sprint I'll still have a cricket phone bc i love it too much, lol.

Keep up the good work Sprint...
