My boyfriend has gone through several (of the same) phones throughout the past two months (for some reason, the phone continues to break -- only once out of the three times has it been his fault the phone broke).
Anyway, I want to buy him a new phone (completely different from what he has now) because as of now, he's phone-less. If I purchased him a brand new phone with his provider (Sprint), would he be able to take the SIM card out from his old phone, put it in the new phone, and be able to program the new phone as normal? Or would he need to go into a Sprint store and have them activate the phone?
