sprint plans? a way to get around a forced data plan?

no they did the same to me. if you have someone else in the family who's willing to trade because they don't need a new phone, ask them. that's what i had to do. the first person told us it could be brand new and then when we came to replace it they said i could only get a used one. it was frustrating. good luck.
 
i want a new phone for christmas, but the "new" phones force you to get a data plan with it. is there any way around this? all i will use it for is texting and calling.
