sprint phone LG LX400 work with boost, how?

My GF currently has boost and was given a sprint phone LG LX400 from a friend since her friend upgraded. Question is ,will it work?? Will all the features like unlimated minutes, unlimeted text and internet wrk on this phone since she has the 50$ unlimeted pay as you go plan feedback would be great
