(Sprint LG Rumor Touch) How do I make it just vibrate when I get a text, and...?

How do I make it so, when I get a text, it just vibrates. But when someone calls me, it vibrates and rings?

I just got this phone today, so I am pretty new to it. Well, I can't figure out how to make my phone vibrate when I get a text WITHOUT it having to play some type of ringtone. I don't want to put it on "Vibrate all" or whatever, because I want to use my ringtone for when someone calls me as well as it vibrating.
So does anyone know how to make it vibrate for both messages and calls, but just play a ringtone for calls?

well if it is anything like my lg chocolate touch all you would have to do is

:goto your settings
:then find sound settings
:there should be call sounds and alert sounds
:: alert sounds - u will be able to set your tone's for it there
:: call sounds- this is for your ring tone and such
---to set the text msg's on vibrate--
you need to change the ..text message tone.. to "no ring"
and set it to vibrate
