Sprint iPhone Help!!!?

Hello my grandpa is buying me the sprint iphone 4s but he is a different account then what im on im on my moms so the question im asking is ....... will there be a problem me activating the iphone on my account? the sprint online store sold out already so im pre ordering it from apple.com so does the iphone come unactivated? or what do i just need to do to get it activated.... i need the easiest way possible! thanks a bunch!
