Time for an upgrade for me, want some opinions between the Evo 4g and Photon 4g. Evo = $100 Photon = $200. I know the Photon has better tech specs all around over the Evo, however the Evo has a HUGE root community.. My biggest concern is battery life, will a rooted/custom rom Evo 4g get better/equal to battery life to a stock/only rooted Photon(as far as i know their are no roms that do much to help photons battery life, please provide links if there are!) I know the times are listed for 6 hours talk time on Evo and 10 hours for Photon. I would love to have the Photon but there is a tiny community/extremely low numbers of roms and that pushes me away. Is it worth twice the price for a phone that has tiny root communities?? Id like a comparison of the two phones with roots/roms included and not just stock comparison becasue i know stock the Photon would blow Evo away. I have a feeling that even though its underspeced, the Evo would be an overall better phone to have considering id root and rom..
