Sprint doesn't work for my ipod touch 32GB ipod for me to jailbreak it?

i closed itunes and i went to the sprint website. i clicked on the windows section because i have a windows computer. i connected my ipod to the computer and it says this device is corrupt or something??
i just need a step-by-step of how to jailbreak my ipod please
