sprint cancellation of deposit?

I went to radio shack to buy a sprint phone and to avoid rebates. I chose my phone and went through the process of purchasing it the guy working there told me i had to pay 250 for the phone because of my credit i paid it, then he says now you have to pay for the phone which he didnt tell me that. Long story short the 250 was a deposit so i said forget it i dont want the phone in the middle of the purchase just give me the 250 back. He says he can no longer give it to me it has to be sent in the mail in 10 days. 10 days have passed and im not sure how to get my money back from sprint.
