Sprint and Nextel!!! Best AnsWer!!!?

I have a lg rumor, and i was wanting a blackberry 8330 curve, and the titanium ones are all nextel on ebay. Can i still switch from the rumor to the blackberry, and what is the difference between a blackberry and a blackberry with nextel?
 
I don't think there is much a difference. They're both the same company, though Sprint uses CDMA radio and Nextel is famous for it's iDEN. I think that allows their push to talk service, walkie-talkie stuff. But, from what I can tell, a Nextel phone will operate on the Sprint network, regardless.
