Sprint and Bluetooth

Does anyone have a Sprint PCS bluetooth phone happily co-existing with their Tungsten?

I am thinking of buying an LG PM325 to use for contact dialing via bluetooth, and possibly contact synchronization, and web/data via bluetooth. I was wondering if someone had gone down this road before.

I am a current Verizon wireless subscriber, but the new Motorola V710 has markedly disabled bluetooth capabilities, and I am sure it can do nothing besides utilize a BT headset. There are a wealth of ATT/Cingular BT phones, but reception in my area with this carrier stinks.

Thanks in advance

The T608 was the only other Sprint phone to offer BT and it was limited to 10,000 units. The odds of one of those finding it's way into the hands of a T user and reporting it here are pretty slim.

You may have to be the "beta" for it with the LG and since it just came out you'd be the beta or maybe the alpha tester.

Thanks; given the reading I've done, being the alpha or beta tester for PalmOne sounds like a recipe for many long and frustrated nights with both devices. I'll post my findings once I get my hands on the phone.

It certainly seems like ATT/Cingular has the BT market cornered. I just wish they'd merge networks already and improve on their individual lackluster coverage areas and reception quality.

The LG phone should 'work' with any BT device but since the T is now 2 years old then I'm not certain how quickly P1 will update the drivers and since the LG BT phone is a first for LG as well.....it's a big question.

I'm not certain that it won't work but there is no way to be certain. BT is pretty loose in it's security so there might be a hope of it working but you may want to check with LG to see if they've tested it with most of the T series of devices. :)
