I have a '98 pontiac bonneville. there are several quarter size paint chips on my trunk that I would like to get rid of. I tried touch up paint but that didn't do it any justice. I have heard that since white is such a easy color to match, I could get a spray paint that would do the job. I sanded it down to bare metal. primed it with several coats. painted it with several coats. and then clear coated it. my only problem is it is very grainy. like someone threw sand on it while the paint was drying. Now that I am wanting to do my door, how should I prevent that scratchy feelings?
