So I've been on the pill (Alesse) for 3 years now, and I have never had any issues, always getting my period on days 2 or 3 of the sugar pills, and never any spotting. I am pretty diligent about taking my pill, at the exact same time every day, I have an alarm on my cellphone for 815am and rarely miss a pill. Ive maybe been at most, 3 hours off my normal time due to certain situations which has forced me to take it early, to avoid having to take it at work. I am on day 15 of my pill pack and noticed some brown discharge - not even enough to require a pad, it is just like normal daily discharge, except brown and kind of stringy....Im wondering if this is OK or if i should consult my doctor? Its very little brown stuff, but still....I've never had spotting even before I was on the pill. Help? What can this be caused by?
