Sportsnet West HD??

I'm starting to wonder if Bell has made Sportsnet West HD a full time HD channel now (849/1408). The last two days there has been no guide information but the channel has been "on" full time for the entire day. First noticed it with the Oilers game Saturday, but it was still going last night.

I'll have to check tonight. As of last night I was not receiving Sportsnet East full time, just the other 3. I was starting to wonder if this was a regional only and that this region would see Sportsnet West as well in HD, but anyone outside of the Sportsnet West region would not see it. But I guess others confirm they are seeing it too.

I see that Sportsnet West is now on but East isn't. I'd really like to have it.

As of Sat. Mar. 6 I have Sportsnet Ontario, Pacific and West all running and showing real programming. Sportsnet East remains dead so I guess it is still reserved for Senators games only.

Question about Sportsnet West HD games like the Flames and Wild game yesterday afternoon. We've seen this during Oilers games too.

Does anyone experience bizarre picture jumps or stutters during live play? An example would be someone skates from the red line past the blue line towards the net, and during the camera moving right/left is when this would happen. I'm not sure if it's during the shift from center camera to another camera or if it's just the camera's movement. If you rewind the scene around 10sec and watch it again, it is still there.

We see this all the time during Sportsnet West games on 2 different receivers (9200 and 9242) and using 2 different TVs.

The games/feeds on CI never have this problem, which makes me suspect Sportsnet has something strange happening. I emailed them asking about this before Christmas and did not receive a reply.

Yes, I've noticed this too. It happens on both Bell and Shaw cable. It's like the Sportsnet feed drops a few frames now and then.

I am glad (I guess?) that that is not just happening to me. I was out of my house while it was gettting painted for 3 weeks, and when I hooked everything back up I started to notice this during Flames games over the last couple of weeks. I rebooted the 9242 in hopes of fixing it, but no luck. Even when you rewind it the blips are still there. Super annoying. I've never noticed it on TSN or other networks, at least to the obvious degree that it happens on Sportsnet. I hate it!

Got a reply that said they've 'forwarded your comments to our Manager of Technical Operations.'
