...& regs stifle advancement? Golf stands on the brink of cutting edge advancements every year. Tennis as well with their racquet advancements.
Two part question:
What advancements can be foreseen for tennis and golf?
Meanwhile other sports are stuck in the dark ages, such as baseball, hockey, and football. This is partly due to the notion that one cannot really develope much beyond their respective governing bodies' rules and regs. MLB poo-poos the notion of anything other than a hickory bat. Meanwhile, for example, there is amazing technology out there that would make bat-technology exciting and mind-boggling. NFL and NHL has advanced their padding/helmet technology somewhat, but nothing really cutting edge.
Ideas?
