Sports/community service for college?

I hate sports. But I know it's good for college. What should I do? Just join something?
And is it a good idea to volunteer during my freshmen year?
Also, is MUN a good idea?

Not about sports of community service- but, if there are middle school grades on my transcript (my school puts our Algebra grades on there), even though middle school doesn't count for college, since it's on there, will my grades in Algebra matter a lot when applying for college? And does it look bad if you're in a low math class (but have good classes otherwise)?

Well, if you don't like sports, chances are you are not very good at them. Why don't you try doing something that you are successful at? You could start playing an instrument and get really good at it in three years. Or you could join a performing arts group, a literary magazine or create your own art exhibition. These would be as impressive as, or even more than, doing sports.
It is always a good idea to volunteer and volunteering early will make your resume more impressive. However, you should limit your extracurricular activities and volunteer work so they don't affect your GPA, the most important thing in admissions.
MUN is a good option but try not to be a wallflower if you join. Also remember that being a delegate many times is not as impressive as getting a position of responsibility a couple of times so try becoming an ambassador or a chair.
I am not familiar with that reporting system but I can tell you that you should take some higher level math classes if you are serious about college, which you seem to be. It is a matter of choice I guess, but it would put you in a more favorable position than others with low level math courses.
Hope this helps
