I'm very close to buying a 2000 SportCraft 252 with a 2005 Mercury Verado 250hp 4 stroke attached with a bracket. I know that this is a heavier boat than other 25 footers out there. Wondering if this is enough power to push this boat efficiently? Also, if it has enough power to push the boat faster than the local commuter ferry...lol? Thanks for all of your help in advance!!!!
