Spore creepy and cute expansion question?

So, i got the expansion but in game (creature mode) the parts are locked (literally they have a lock symbol), and i can't find anymore bones or befriend so I was wondering does the expansion come with the parts already there or do i have to unlock them in creature mode somehow? And if I have to unlock them, where is a good place to get bones? Thanks in advanced
