Spironolactone - Nervous Issues

I have been taking Spironolactone in 50 mg/once a day for about 3 weeks. I do crave TONS of water now, which I suppose is to be expected.. And urinating more, which is to be expected.. But I'm having really bad nervous problems. Really graphic nightmares and this HUGE nervous knot in my stomach. I mentally and physically feel like I am doing something horribly wrong and I'm about to get busted every minute of the day. It's awful!! I'm also becoming super emotionally sensitive.
This is not normal for me, and it only began about 4 days after I started taking this. Has anyone had anything even remotely similar to this? I would really, really love some feedback!
Or if I get none I might get sensitive and start to cry! (just kidding!)

honestly, when it comes to us humans taking just about ANY type of med, and some are much more likely to actually create more possible side effects than others too, just about ANYTHING can actually occur when WE take them that would not actually happen to someone else taking the very same type of med? i would actually call your pharmacist first just to see what some of the more profound types of possible side effects can be, then either have them, or yourself speak to the Rxing doc about what you should do here. anytime i have ever had ANY real med questions, i ALWAYS hit up my pharm first since they simply know more about every med we can possibly have to take thru just accessing certain programs they always have availiable to them becasue of what they do? vs any doc who can Rx many different types of meds who cannot possible just 'know' what every med and side effect is even possible?

your side effects just sound pretty out there and should be checked out. are you taking any other meds or suppliments along with this at anytime thru out your day? those can also have some added problems with interactions too. but DO call the pharmicist. just what was this actually Rxed for? this is just what i would do in your situation, and have in the past too, trust me. hope things get better for you, FB
