I'm currently 17 years of age and have suffered just over 6 years of back pain with little or no progress of a diagnosis.
2002 - Injury occurred
2002 - Hospital A&E reveals its all in my head
2003 - Undiagnosed and unrefered
2004 - After seeing about 5 different doctors, a chiropractor and a couple of therapists, i seek the help of a private physio-therapist who diagnosed me with a 'Rotated Pelvis' and 'Spinal Torsion'. Corrected through the 'Bowen technique' so that the spine was straight, shouldrs, ribs, neck, legs and hips were level. Also carried on follow up excersises for a year. Back Pain, although relived slightly still continued to hurt under excersise.
2005- The prev therapist refused to see me, on account that she could no longer do anything for me. Seeked the help of a knew Physio, who diagnosed me with 'Scar Tissue' behind my right Shoulder Blade. Continued massages for a year.
2006- the knew physio helped with some of the pain, however wasn't long before the pain returned.
2007 - Seeked the help of first physio therapist, again diagnosing me with the same 'Spinal torsion' continued more treated through the 'Bowen technique' and corrected my spine once again.
2008- Christmas it returned slowly, untill now its as bad as it was 6 years ago.
I have no idea what to do, what my options are or anything...
Ive had an MRI which turned up nothing in 2007.
Got an appointment with a back specilist (another one) tomorrow.
Can anyone give me any inofmation of surgery technique for spinal torsion? (Getting to the stage where im looking at anything).
Any help would be good.
