Spinal Stenosis and Urgent need to urinate

Does anyone else who has spinal stenosis also have frequent and urgent need to urinate along with the pins and needles feeling you get in your extremities?
 
You should make your Dr. aware that you are experiencing this, since it can be serious symptom. The nerves to your bladder are probably being affected.
 
My mom had this. I woud tell the dr about the other stuff. that coiuld be a pinched nerve from the stenosis, common. best fix is if you can do some light walking and therapy to take some pressure off or pain meds and both.
 
You may be developing cauda equina syndrome where the nerves to the bowel and bladder are affected. You need to let your doctor know ASAP. This can become permanent and it can change from urgency to not being able to go at all. If that does happen...you can't go, go to your Emergency Room...yes, it can get that serious. Life with a catheter brings all sorts of health problems and something you can avoid with surgery to get rid of the stenosis.

Call you doc or spine doc ASAP. Please.
