Spider-man 5 - I hope they introduce his Amazing Friends

Watched Spider-man 3 tonight and thought it would be perfect to introduce Iceman and Firestar into the movie franchise...loved the cartoon much more the Spidey on his own in the 80's
 
they couldn't possibly make a figure-hugging outfit for firestar like the one in the cartoon EVER!!!!!!

actually that would be a gret idea for the next set of movies ..... iceman comes over from the x-men, and firestar get's a origin story!!
 
Spiderman and his amazing frienRAB was one my favourite cartoon in the 80s. but wasnt it actually from the 80s? my hazey knowledge of this was - The other spiderman cartoons when he was on his own (..do anything a spider can, spins a web...blah blah..look out! here comes Spiderman!) where repeated around the same period - but they were from the 60's werent they?
 
I loved this cartoon as a kid. But I doubt it would crossover into the films. The films seem to be drawing from the original comics source material, not other adaptations. Besides, there would probably be legal problems using Iceman given the X-Men franchise.
 
I might be wrong about this but wasn't Flash Thompson, Iceman in the cartoon?

Further, wasn't Flash Thompson in the first Spidey movie as well?

O' course I could look on IMDB.....
