...Any suggestions? I went to mechanic check my brake pads and he sugested that I should change my clutch soon. So I had him change my clutch. A week later I took a long trip and ended up having to take the car to a near by mechanic. He said I needed to change my calipers, roders, and brake pads. He charged $850.I went back to this mechanic 3 times and I still had the same problems:burning rubber smells and the brakes were frozen. Finally I took the car to the original neighborhood mechanic who changed my clutch. He told me I didn't need to change my brakes because when he changed the clutch he checked the brakes.I had to take the car back to him 2 timesbecause I continued to have to same problems. The first time he changed the master cylinder and the second time he changed the brake pump.I just drove the car home from the shop and now I have to call AAA because I'm hearing all kinds of squeeling noises. As I'm driving I'm hearing draging noises that sounds like I'm driving down my roders. The gears feel messed up. I can only get enough power in 2nd gear. Is the clutch and brakes inter-related? Also, I'm beginning to wonder which of these mechanics messed up my car. Anybody knows what happened. My car was in perfect driving condition before I took it to either mechanic.I had originally came in the check my brake pads!!!!!
